About the Authoress

    A young girl, 18 last May, walks down the path through the woods. She has very short, blonde hair, but the brown roots are growing in. Black rimmed glasses in front of her hazel-green eyes, which are heavy with liquid eyeliner and tears that threaten to ruin her black mascara, as it is not water proof. Her lips are painted with ruby-red lipstick. She sits on the edge of a cliff over-looking the town reservoir. Below it are many large boulders, but she ignores that and looks at the sun setting over the water. Lonely and wishing (thought she knew no one was there) that someone would notice her, she sings a sad song…
